It has been established in 1983 and presently offers undergraduate & post graduate courses with annual intake of 480 & 36 respectively. The institution- one of the few rural colleges has the coveted honor of accreditation in 2003, from NBA, an AICTE wing for quality assurance, New Delhi, when majority of well established institutions were not even daring to apply for accreditation. Continuing this trend of quality education, the institute has undergone for renewal of accreditation in year.
