Apparel Media is the result of the vision of three former Indiana University students who first met in classes in 2005 and 2007. The custom apparel printing company that began as a side project in Bloomington and spread to university campuses throughout the U.S. led to the insight that millions of consumers actually WANT to connect with brands, but don’t have the scale and resources to drive them to action. So in 2009, Jared Golden, Gerry Hays and Amish Tolia created Apparel Media to provide a global solution to help brands address that hyperlocal opportunity, and in doing so pioneered a massively scalable communications channel.
