Lok Sabha Television (LSTV), a dedicated satellite channel to telecast live proceedings of Lok Sabha or Lower House of Parliament and air programmes on important public issues, hit the airwaves today.
LSTV will function as a 24-hour channel, telecasting programmes of national interest when the Parliament is not in session.

This is Samir Cassim Ariff from Calcutta, i would like to know about the following from you, as i don't know whom to write where to write, so i am writing to you, sir my great grandfather Mr.Yacoob Cassim Ariff was a Member Of Legislative Assembly since British ruled India in the year 1926 - 1927, i have a group photograph to show him along with Motilal Nehru, Sir Victor Sassoon, Lala Lajpat Rai, etc, since i see in the Lok Sabha television the snaps which they show in between of people who have served Lok Sabha, so i would like to give my great grandfather's snap posted on 2009-09-11
