Swami Vivekanand International School situated at Gorai, Borivali is run by Swami Vivekanand Sikshan Vikas Mandal Trust. The school was established in 1995 having classes from Nursery to Standard X. Swami Vivekanand International School and Jr. College, Kandivali is managed by the American Education Trust and was established in June 1998; now having classes from Nursery to Standard XII (Science). Both the Trusts are registered under the Bombay Public Trust Act, 1950.
The schools are affiliated to Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education. These co-educational, English Medium Schools believe in all round development of children, and inculcate in the minds of the young ones the values of human dignity, equality and a sense of brotherhood, which are the three icons of our democratic country.
